Inovis Customer Advisory Board

The board was formed in 2008 by Inovis and is chaired by Steve Coussins, former Chief Executive of GS1 UK. The purpose of the Inovis Customer Advisory Board (CAB) is:

To oversee the introduction, deployment and direction of Inovis' Business Community Management (BCM) solutions in the UK and the rest of Europe. A key role of the board will be to provide Inovis with an understanding of the business drivers and issues -that will need to be addressed by BCM in the primary European markets.
To provide board members with an opportunity to network with similar level people in other businesses using Inovis and Freeway solutions.
To keep board members up-to-date with and stimulated by, global developments in e Commerce & Supply Chain technology, standards and solutions.

The Customer Advisory Board Meetings

Inovis hold two board meetings a year in locations throughout the UK. Our meetings venues support the CAB's focus of IT and Supply Chain innovation and education. Some of our venues include: Cranfield School of Management, The EPCglobal RFID Test Centre and Hursley Park, one IBM's leading global research laboratories. These venues offer more than just a meeting space, they provide talking points, presentations, tours, vision and strategy for our Board members to take away with them.

The Inovis Customer Advisory Board is made up of ten Inovis and Freeway customers, an industry expert, Steve Coussins and chair and Managing Director of Inovis UK and Freeway, John Redfern.

Outputs & Deliverables of the CAB

Board members will be in possession of an up-to-date development road map and will have access to Inovis and Freeway management to discuss and/or investigate any element of this road map
The board will be able to propose and initiate projects as deemed relevant to support the objectives set by the board. Such projects will be lead by Inovis and could, for example, include commissioned industry/consumer research and proof of concept projects.

Inovis have access to board members in between meetings as required to support the development road map. This could include, for example, input for case study and other promotional materials, comment on & support for planned product releases and support for board initiated projects.
