Inovis customer innocent, the number one smoothie brand in the UK, could be celebrating after it was shortlisted for the Retail & Leisure Sector Technology Project of the Year at the prestigious CNET Networks UK Business Technology Awards. The nomination follows innocent's project to implement a best-of-breed EDI VAN solution from Inovis to support the organisations expansion into countries across into Europe, including Ireland, France, the Benelux region, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. 

With the new solution, innocent is saving 20 hours a week, which were previously spent on processing orders and invoices by hand, and has also overcome the complexity of adding new partners onto its EDI system. The CNET awards celebrate the greatest achievements of the UK's business technology innovators, leaders and doers, and create new opportunities for them to grow by showcasing their successes and connecting them. 

The winner of the award will be announced at the awards ceremony and networking dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane on 23 September 2008.
